Alexandra Day teaches voice, piano, guitar, and ukelele. Singing and playing piano ever since she was a tiny kid, she studied piano at Temple University and graduated with a degree in Classical Voice Performance. She has released two CDs of original folk music, sings regularly with jazz combos, and is in her 13th year as a wedding singer, performing all genres of popular music. She has been teaching in the Society Hill neighborhood of Philadelphia for 10 years. She founded The Music Dispatch in 2014 to offer her clients an expanded palette of talented, professional instructors that will best match their schedule, learning goals, and instrument choices.
Rebecca Graham
Becca teaches trumpet, piano, guitar, voice, and songwriting. She is a multi-talented multi-instrumentalist, with a passion for making the world a better place, and a gift for connecting with students. She earned her bachelor’s degree in music education (trumpet concentration) from Ithaca College. After college, she spent a year in service as the Family Communications Americorps VISTA at New Roots Charter School, a start-up high school in Ithaca, NY where she was later brought on as the full-time Music Director. Over the course of her two years at New Roots, Rebecca taught and developed sustainability and social justice arts curriculum for grades 9-12 with classes including chorus, jazz ensemble, chamber ensemble, a student-led rock band, music theory and appreciation.
Since moving to Philadelphia in 2013, Rebecca has worked as a vocal Teaching Artist with Musicopia’s FAME (Fostering Artistry and Musical Excellence) and residency programs. Her Complaint Choir program has been hailed as “innovative” and “highly popular” and is often requested by school communities looking to better engage their at-risk and special needs students. Rebecca has also served on the Musicopia Board of Directors from 2015-2017 as the Teaching Artist liaison.
Currently, she serves as ArtistYears’ City Lead of Philadelphia, Rebecca works personally with Fellows to achieve their highest potential as classroom educators and dedicated artist citizens for a full service.

Her energy, creativity, and versatility make her a great addition to the Music Dispatch team.
